Jiří Kylián created the title 27‘52‘‘ for the 25th anniversary of existence of the Nederlands Dans Theater II. The presentation of the world premiere in Den Haag dated on the 1st of February 2002. Though the title refers to the length of the performance (duration of the Dirk Haubrich's composition) - meaning twenty seven minutes and fifty two seconds, the overall time spent preparing the spectacle, including the work of dancers, choreographer, production team, costume dpt., etc., was an incredible 4 418,75 hours. Nataša Novotná and Václav Kuneš danced their parts in 27'52" for the first time in 2004 as members of the main company of NDT.
