A Small hour ago
choreography: Václav Kuneš
A Small hour ago started as a trilogy based on three duets.
It is about accepting crucial occurrences that define the course of our life.
There are moments which we are trying to recall again and again and others that we try very hard to forget. Accepting, the process of it, has been an important source of inspiration for this work. Accepting as a step towards a new direction.

Apart from our own, sometimes very personal incidents we, as performers, have a strong and vivid physical memory of “what it used to feel like before”, some time ago. Everyday we are faced with the actual reality of our declining physical abilities together with the memories. Accepting is not giving up, it is actually a step towards a new direction. Turning of the page, starting on a new chapter. Sometimes even taking a new book.
Coming to a terms with events we experience is a process. Something happens. We take our time, we confront it. We accept.
