SIMONA MACHOVIČOVÁ

Simona Machovičová studied choreography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and continued her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She attended a six-month international programme at the Peridance Capezio Center dance school in New York. Her choreography and interpretation were awarded at the Festival of Choreographic Miniatures in Belgrade (2014 and 2015), and she won the Audience Award at the Internationales Solo-Tanz Theater Festival in Stuttgart (2015). She has danced in the French musical Romeo et Juliette, choreographed by Carlo Portal, and performed onstage in the British talent show X-Factor. In 2021, she participated in a new project of the KAFIG dance company in France, choreographed by Mourad Merzouki. As a freelance performer, she has collaborated with several dance companies, including Lenka Vagnerová & Company and BurkiCom. Since 2018, she has performed primarily in the company 420PEOPLE.
