Y / why
La Fabrika | 19:30
The choreography by Václav Kuneš and 420PEOPLE. Y / why wraps up this choreographic journey by delving into the heart of human experience. It’s a performance that questions, provokes, and ultimately invites the audience to find their own answers. "Why look for the meaning of things by dancing? Why not?”

SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Studio Maiselovka | 19:30
The solo performance by dancer Francesca ‘Amy’ Amante and the solo concert by flamenco guitarist Filip Zubák. They dance and sing, disappearing and reappearing among levitating glass objects. The set design was inspired by the work of artist Vladimíra Klumparová, thanks to whom glass became an integral part of the creative process. It remained solid and fragile at the same time, impressive, beautiful, seemingly abstract, until a combination of circumstances gave it meaning, a story. Just like the illusion created by the combination of smoke and mirrors, this story may also be just an impression. New choreography by Václav Kuneš created especially for Studio Maiselovka.

MOMENT IN TIME
La Fabrika | 19:30
Although we consider time to be an objective, unchanging and continuous reality, it does not affect everyone in the same way. This is partly a matter of subjective perception and meaning. Only certain moments in an individual’s life define and transform it, while the rest becomes practically meaningless by comparison. However, time also has physical properties. Under extreme conditions, different observers may experience the passage of time in fundamentally different ways. Near black holes, for example, time appears to slow down to such an extent that, for an outside observer, it seems to stop completely. From this perspective, black holes can be perceived as both a place and a moment in time.

THROUGH GLASS
Dance film
The dance film THROUGH GLASS, directed by Marek Partyš and choreographed by Sylva Šafková, combines contemporary dance and a visual story that describes the image of distorted reality: “Reflections, angles of view, distorted reality...but if you hold it against a mirror, the letters will go again in the right direction."

FLAMMABLE MACHINES - the Audition
Dance film
“We’ll call you. Next please!” A trio of promising participants get much further than the Producer ever expected. The twelfth exactly same musical number gets him off his chair. A few hours in and a guy with number 451 is tap-dancing around his head. This is not an ordinary audition anymore. The Producer isn’t sitting safely behind his table wall. Actually…he does sit there still, but these are not tables anymore. And he is not alone. Now it’s an Audition. For life.

ORĪGĪ
Dance film
The idea for short dance film ORĪGĪ came from the title of an EU project: CLASH! When classic & contemporary dance collide & new forms emerge. Unexpected encounter of three dancers. All of them are very different. Three pairs of shoes. Very different. New people, new situation. Can they adapt? Do they want to adapt? The only thing they have in common is a desire to dance. Is that enough?
